Your games in the sidebar
Each Waypoint game now has its own place in the sidebar, under Home. HearthWild is the first. Click a game to open its page, and it lights up while you are there.
News from the website
The Updates tab now shows the same posts as waypointgames.net, so new release notes appear without a launcher update. If you are offline, it shows the posts it loaded last time.
A cleaner window
Waypoint now draws its own window frame instead of using the Windows title bar. Drag the strip along the top to move the window, double-click it to maximise, and use the buttons at the top right to minimise, maximise or close. Events and Updates are tabs in that strip.
Settings
Settings is at the bottom of the sidebar. For now it shows your version and lets you check for updates. Install location and download options arrive with game installs.
Technical notes
- The library page is gone. The sidebar's game list replaces it.
- Posts load from https://waypointgames.net/feed.json and are cached on your PC for offline use.
